Quickstart with PolyVault

Welcome to PolyVault! This guide will walk you through the basics of setting up your account and using the app to start creating and downloading assets.

1. Create an Account

  • Go to app.polyvault.io
  • Click Sign Up and register with your email or preferred provider.
  • Verify your email address to activate your account.

2. Explore the Asset Library

  • Browse the library of 3D scanned models, PBR materials, HDRIs, and decals.
  • Use the search bar or filters to find assets by category, tags, or style.
  • Click on any asset to preview it in 3D.

3. Download Assets

  • Select an asset you like.
  • Click Download (requires login).
  • Assets are provided in standard formats (GLB/ZIP with textures) ready for use in DCC tools or game engines.

4. Try AI Material Generation (Aurora)

  • Go to the AI tab.
  • Enter a text prompt describing the material you want.
  • Optionally, upload a reference image.
  • PolyVault generates a full PBR material set (albedo, normal, roughness, displacement, etc.).
  • Download the output and use it directly in your pipeline.

5. Manage Your Account & Credits

  • Check your profile dashboard for your plan, credits, and saved assets.
  • Upgrade to a higher plan or purchase credit packs if you need more generations.
  • Credits are spent only on AI generations — browsing and downloading from the library is included with your subscription.

6. Stay Updated

  • Check the Changelog for the latest features and updates.
  • Join our community (coming soon) for tips, tricks, and feedback.
